I’ve planned and attended many events. Our recent WomenForward Livin’ in the Moment gathering touched me in many ways. It touched my mind, body and spirit. So, if you attended—thank you. If you did not, this will let you know what you missed! :) Here are my top 10 most memorable moments:

• Working with Colleen, Jenn, Kae, Rose, & Sally—some of the smartest people on the planet.
• Seeing Tamala Edwards engage the audience—telling it like it is with humor and authenticity. She challenged the women in the room.
• Sensing anew the musical gifts Betty Hasiuk & Teresa Desiato possess. They never skip a beat!
• Interacting with the 31 fabulous participants who attended our first time pre event workshop—Be Who You Are.
• Hanging out with Erin Grumbrecht, a dazzling, intelligent 11th grader, who ROCKS! And, believes we can take our WF message into her school.
• Listening to ladies ooh and ahh over purses and jewerly they could buy to help raise extra funds for education.
• Being grateful for Knowlton Mansion's beauty, bounty and best ever staff.
• Observing new friendships being formed—not just business cards being exchanged.
• Realizing what we’re doing matters. We are involved in something bigger than ourselves.
• Telling everyone how many $1K scholarships WF will provide in 2009…5! Hooray!
